Nepal: Chinese company to set up USD 140m cement factory


The Investment Board Nepal (IBN) has started laying the groundwork to sign the Project Investment Agreement (PIA) with a Chinese cement manufacturer, which plans to invest USD 140 million in the country. The move comes after three months after the IBN entered into a PIA with Hongshi-Shivam Cement, a Nepal-China joint venture, which will invest USD 359.2 million in the country.
